German Foreign Minister meets Akufo-Addo

German Foreign Minister Dr. Westerwelle met NPP presidential candidate Nana Akufo-Addo in Berlin on 12 June. During a trip to Germany, Akufo-Addo also met with Federal Chancellor Dr. Merkel in her capacity as chairperson of the CDU party, former Federal President Köhler and other politicians. Among the topics discussed, the most prominent were bilateral and economic topics, e.g. vocational training to fight youth poverty in Ghana. On his trip to Germany that lasted 10-14 June, Nana Akufo-Addo was accompanied by his party chairman Lamptey.
